
Student Lab-Agora: Activate Communities

Following the successful Arqus Student Lab 2025 at Vilnius University, we are delighted to announce the launch of the Student Lab-Agora: Activate Communities. This initiative builds on the momentum and ideas generated in Vilnius, the Student Services Network Toolkit, and the work of Work Group 10 – Communities of Practice, aiming to extend collaboration across all partner services and deepen our shared engagement with students.
As part of the upcoming Student Lab-Agora: Activate Communities, taking place online on 3 December at 14:00 CET, we are inviting Student Services across the Alliance to actively contribute to the Show and Tell session, following the structure below:
- [05’] Opening – Student Agora
- [10’] Communities of Practice (WG10)
- Challenges and tools
- [15’] Results of the Transversal Arqus Student Lab
- ArQhire – bridging the gap between students and employers to facilitate job opportunities after graduation
- Safe Spaces, Real Faces – promoting student mental health and wellbeing
- EcoMmunity – raising awareness of local biodiversity, encouraging environmental education, and strengthening sustainable community engagement
- [30’] Show and Tell session (invited Student Services, 3 per topic)
- Career Services – supporting student employability and career transitions
- Health and Wellbeing Services – promoting physical and mental health among students
- Diversity and Inclusion Services – fostering equity, belonging, and inclusive practices
- Student Life Services – enhancing community engagement and student experience
- [10’] Plenary discussion
- Sharing key insights, identifying common themes, and exploring potential partnerships and collaborations moving forward
This session will highlight the richness and diversity of our work in supporting students, creating a space for exchange and inspiration among Arqus universities.

We will select three services per topic, representing different institutions, to briefly share their experience, initiatives, or tools related to the following areas:
- Career Services – supporting student employability and career transitions
- Health and Wellbeing Services – promoting physical and mental health among students
- Diversity and Inclusion Services – fostering equity, belonging, and inclusive practices
- Student Life Services – enhancing community engagement and student experience
Each topic will be discussed for 30 minutes, divided as follows:
- 3 short presentations (5 minutes each) – one from each selected service
- 5 minutes for questions and answers, encouraging dialogue and reflection
